น้ำตกเขาล้าน ตั้งอยู่ในเขตพื้นที่ของอุทยานแห่งชาติน้ำตกห้วยยาง อยู่ห่างจากที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติประมาณ 40 กิโลเมตร น้ำตกเขาล้าน มีทั้งหมด 5 ชั้น ชั้นที่ 1-3 จะมีแอ่งน้ำสามารถลงเล่นน้ำได้ ระหว่างจะทางมีธารน้ำตกเล็กๆ ชั้นที่ 4 เป้นสายน้ำไหลจากที่สูงตามความลาดหินยาวประมาณ 40 เมตร และชั้นที่ 5 เป็นชั้นที่สวยที่สุด น้ำไหลตกลงมาจากผาสูงกว่า 9 เมตร 628 ระยะทางจากนำ้ตกชั้น 1-5 ประมาณ 628 เมตร น้ำตกชั้นที่ 1-3 จะมีแอ่งน้ำนักท่องเที่ยวสามารถลงเล่นน้ำได้ ชั้นที่ 5 เป็นชั้นที่สวยที่สุด น้ำไหลตกลงมาจากผาสูงกว่า 9 เมตร น้ำตกเขาล้าน เป็นเทือกเขาสูงติดต่อกัน มีพื้นที่อยู่บนเทือกเขาตะนาวศรี ส่วนใหญ่เป็นเนินเขามีน้ำตกทั้งหมด 5 ชั้น เมื่อครั้งไปสำรวจพื้นที่เพื่อประกาศเป็นอุทยานแห่งชาติ บริเวณน้ำตกชั้น 4 และ 5 มีลักษณะเป็นเขาหัวโล้น ประกอบกับภูเขาที่อยู่ทางด้านซ้ายของน้ำตกเป็นหินแกรนิตที่ไม่มีต้นไม้ขึ้นมีลักษณะเป็นเขาหัวโล้นจึงเป็นที่มาของชื่อน้ำตกเขาล้าน
ถนนเพชรเกษมมุ่งสู่อำเภอทับสะแก จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ เลี้ยวขวายูเทิร์นหน้าปั๊มปตท.ทับสะแกจากนั้นขับตรงมาอีกประมาณ 200 เมตรแล้วเลี้ยวซ้ายอีกครั้งหน้าศูนย์ Yamaha จะมีป้ายบอกทางเป็นระยะๆประมาณ 13 กิโลเมตร
Khao Lan Waterfall, A recreation area of the National Park with the beautiful and clear streams with the height of about 10 meters. It consists of 5 cascades. The level 1-3 are small ponds suitable for swimming and enjoying the nature. The level 5 is the most beautiful level with the water flowing down from 9 meters high cliff. The trekking route from level 1-5 is approximately 628 meters. There are the ponds that suitable for swimming on level 1-3. The level 5 is considered to be the most beautiful level, the water flow down from the 9 meters high cliff. Located in the area of the Tanaosri Mountains. Most of the area is full of the hills with the 5-level waterfall. During the survey of the area to declare it as a national park, the 4th and 5th levels were bald (Lan in Thai Language). The mountain on the left side of the waterfall was granite with no trees; therefore, it is the story of the name “Khao Lan Waterfall”.
Use the Petchkasem Road heading to Thap Sakae District, Prachuap Khiri Khan, then; make a U-turn at the front of PTT Thap Sakae Gas Station. Drive for another 200 meters, and turn left at Yamaha. There will be the signs to Khao Lan Waterfall along the way.
