เป็นอ่าวทางตะวันตกของอ่าวไทย ตั้งอยู่ในเทศบาลเมืองประจวบคีรีขันธ์ จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ อ่าวประจวบเป็นหนึ่งในสามของอ่าวทั้งหมดในอำเภอเมืองจังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ ซึ่งได้ชื่อว่าเป็นเมืองสามอ่าว ดังนี้ อ่าวมะนาว อ่าวประจวบ และอ่าวน้อย ทิศเหนือของอ่าวประจวบติดกับเขาตาม่องล่ายซึ่งเชื่อมกับอ่าวน้อย ส่วนที่ใต้ติดกับเขาล้อมหมวกและอ่าวมะนาวซึ่งเป็นที่ตั้งกองบิน 53 บริเวณกลางอ่าวประจวบมีภูเขาตั้งตระหง่านเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของอ่าวประจวบอยู่นั่นก็คือเขาช่องกระจกที่ทุกคนรู้จักกันดีเพราะมีฝูงลิงและวัดอยู่บนเขา ในอ่าวประจวบก็แบ่งเป็น 2 ฝั่งโดยแบ่งครึ่งด้วยเขาช่องกระจก ซึ่งท่างเหนือจะเริ่มจากปากคลองบางนางรมอยู่บริเวณเชิงเขาช่องกระจก มีหาดทรายขาวยาวต่อเนื่องไปทางเหนืออีก 4 กม. จนถึงบ้านม่องล่ายเชิงเขาตาม่องล่าย ชายหาดใกล้ปากคลองมีทั้งที่กินและที่พักตั้งอยู่หลายแห่ง ถัดจากย่านที่พักปากคลองบางนางรมเป็นที่ตั้งของหน่วยงานราชการเป็นระยะ บริเวณชายหาดบรรยากาศเงียบสงบ ร่มรื่น เหมาะสำหรับผู้ที่ต้องการพักผ่อน
จากทางหลวงหมายเลข 4 (ถนนเพชรเกษม) เลี้ยวซ้ายเข้าตัวเมืองประมาณ 2 กิโลเมตร ถึงบริเวณแยกไฟแดง ตรงไปอีกประมาณ 200 เมตร ถึงอ่าวประจวบ
It is the western bay of the Gulf of Thailand. Located in Prachuap Khiri Khan Municipality Prachuap Khiri Khan Province Prachuap Bay is one of the three bays in Muang District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Which is known as the city of three bays: Ao Manao, Ao Prachuap and Ao Noi. The north of Prachuap Bay is adjacent to Khao Ta Mong Lai which connects to Ao Noi. The southern part, adjacent to the hill, surrounds Hat and Ao Manao, where the 53rd Airborne Division is located. In the middle of Prachuap Bay, there is a mountain towering as a symbol of Prachuap Bay, that is Khao Chong Krachok, which everyone is well known for because there are monkeys and temples on the hill. In Prachuap Bay, it is divided into 2 sides, divided in half by Khao Chong Krachok. Which the north will start from the mouth of Bang Nang Rom Canal at the foot of Khao Chong Krachok There is a white sandy beach that continues for another 4 kilometers to the north until Ban Mong Lai at the foot of Khao Ta Mong Lai. The beach near Pak Klong has many places to eat and accommodation. Next to the Pak Khlong Bang Nang Rom accommodation area is the location of government offices periodically. The beach area has a peaceful, shady atmosphere, suitable for those who want to relax.
From Highway No. 4 (Petchkasem Road), turn left into the city for about 2 kilometers until reaching the red light intersection. Go straight for about 200 meters to Prachuap Bay.
