อุทยานแห่งชาติเขาสามร้อยยอด ตั้งอยู่ในพื้นที่อำเภอสามร้อยยอดและอำเภอกุยบุรี จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยมีที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติเขาสามร้อยยอด อยู่ระหว่างหลักกิโลเมตรที่ 286 – 287 โดยห่างจากถนนเพชรเกษม ประมาณ 14 กิโลเมตร และห่างจากตัวอำเภอปราณบุรี ประมาณ 37 กิโลเมตร การเดินทางมาจุดชมวิวเขาแดง ต้องเดินเท้าจากที่ทำการอุทยานฯ ประมาณ 400 เมตร หรือขับรถไปทางหมู่บ้านเขาแดงจะมีทางแยกเข้าเชิงเขาแดงด้านซ้ายมือ จอดรถแล้วเดินเท้าขึ้นเขาไปอีกประมาณ 725 เมตร
