หาดบ้านกรูด เป็นชายหาดที่กว้างและสวยงาม มีแนวหาดยาวประมาณ 12 กิโลเมตร ขนานไปกับถนนเลียบชายหาด ซึ่งบ้านกรูดขึ้นชื่อว่าเป็นหาดที่สวยงามอีกแห่งหนึ่งในประเทศไทย แต่เดิมบริเวณบ้านกรูดจะมีต้นมะกรูดขึ้นมากมายจึงเป็นที่มาของชื่อบ้านกรูด หาดบ้านกรูด จะมีอยู่ 2 หาด แบ่งเป็นหาดบ้านกรูดเหนือและหาดบ้านกรูดใต้ มีหาดทรายสีขาวนวลทอดยาวไปกับแนวสนและสวนมะพร้าว มีถนนเลียบชายหาด และบรรยากาศเงียบสงบ ชายที่หาดสวย น้ำใส จึงเป็นเสน่ห์ดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวที่มาเที่ยวชม

1. โดยรถยนต์ จากตัวเมืองประจวบฯ ใช้เส้นทางหลวงหมายเลข 4 ถนนเพชรเกษม ลงไปทางใต้ประมาณหลักกิโลเมตรที่ 382 เลี้ยว ซ้ายเข้าเส้นทางหมายเลข 3459 ข้ามทางรถไฟ จะเจอถนนเลียบหาดบ้านกรูด ระยะทางจากตัวเมืองถึงบ้านกรูดประมาณ 65 กิโลเมตร

2. โดยรถไฟ ลงรถที่สถานีรถไฟบ้านกรูดแล้วใช้บริการรถจักรยานยนต์รับจ้าง

3. โดยรถโดยสารประจำทาง นั่งรถโดยสารประจำทางสายกรุงเทพฯ-บางสะพานน้อย ลงรถที่ปากทางเข้าบ้านกรูด แล้วต่อรถจักรยานยนต์รับจ้าง หรือรถสองแถวเข้าไป

Baan Grood Beach is a wide and beautiful beach. The beach line is about 12 kilometers long, parallel to the beach road. Baan Grood Beach is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in Thailand. Originally, there were many kaffir limes trees (Ma Krut) around this area, so it is called Baan Grood Beach. Baan Grood Beach consists of 2 beaches, Baan Grood Beach Nuea Beach and Ban Krut Tai Beach.

Baan Grood Beach has a soft white sandy beach with she oak trees and coconut trees. There is a beach road. Because of quiet atmosphere and beautiful beach with clear water, it attracts tourists to visit this place.

1. By car from Prachuap town Take Highway No. 4, Petchkasem Road, go south for approximately 382 km, turn left onto Route 3459, cross the railroad, and you will see Baan Grood Beach Road. The distance from the city to Ban Krut is about 65 kilometers.

2. By Train, Get off at Baan Grood railway station and take a motorcycle taxi service.

3. By bus, Take a Bangkok-Bang Saphan Noi bus, get off the car at the entrance to Baan Grood and tranfer to a motorcycle taxi or a pick-up truck taxi.
