วัดทางสาย เป็นวัดที่งดงามสร้างขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2539 เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระปรมินทรมหาภูมิพลอดุลยเดชทรงครองราชย์ปีที่ 50 มีเจดีย์ 9 องค์ แทนพระองค์ในหลวงรัชกาลที่ 9 ภายในวัดยังมีจุดชมวิวที่สามารถมองเห็นหาดบ้านกรูดและต้นมะพร้าวที่เรียงรายอยู่ตามชายหาด นอกจากนี้วิวพระอาทิตย์ขึ้นและตกที่นี่ก็สวยงามมาก พระพุทธรูปแบบคันธาระสูง 13 เมตรและเจดีย์ทรงไทยเป็นที่เคารพนับถือของผู้คนจำนวนมากมาแสดงความเคารพต่อพระพุทธรูปในวัดที่สวยงามแห่งนี้ทุกปี
จากถนนเพชรเกษม กิโลเมตรที่ 382 ถึงบ้านกรูดระยะทางประมาณ 9 กิโลเมตร ใช้ถนนเลียบหาดบ้านกรูด เลี้ยวซ้ายอีก 5 กิโลเมตร ขึ้นไปบนเขาธงชัย
Wat Tang Sai, A magnificent temple which was built in 1996 to honor King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s 50th year of reign. It has 9 pagodas to represent His Majesty The King Rama IX. The temple also has the viewpoint with the pleasing view of Ban Grood Beach and coconut tree lined up on the beach. Besides, the view of sunrise and sunset here is magnificent. The 13 meters tall Gandhara style buddha image and Thai style pagoda are widely respected, many people came to show their respect to the buddha image in this beautiful temple every year.
From Petchkasem Road, kilometer 382 to Ban Krut, a distance of about 9 kilometers, take the beach road to Ban Krut. Turn left for another 5 kilometers up Khao Thong Chai.
